This little girl finally got the approval of her doctor for a doctor but it had to be a poodle due to her severe allergies. She is so excited to have Jojo as her very first pet!

| Woody's Rounded Up a New Family! |
| Well Woody is now this family's favorite deputy! Woody will want for nothing. They have always had schnauzers and when they saw his cute face, they knew he had to be part of their family. They had just lost their older schnauzer not too long ago from complications of diabetes. We've already received a picture of Woody and he was in toy heaven as he was sitting amongst all his new toys. They said he is just perfect and so well mannered when they took him shopping. Well, we think they are great for opening up their home to a rescue dog and not buying from a puppy store. | |

| Destiny's Dream Come True! |
| Jerry Just Couldn't Get Luckier! |
Jerry is a five month old cockapoo/doodle (we are calling him a cockadoodle) boy. At 18 pounds already, he is gonna be big, which is exactly why his family dumped him at AC. He was cute as a puppy, but then grew, and grew some more, and required more work, and well, just wasn't so cute anymore:( Jerry's new family lost their cocker a year ago and were ready to adopt. After speaking with them at length and making sure they were up for all things Jerry (chewing, housetraining, puppy classes) they came to meet him. Although Jerry was a bit shy at first, he warmed up quickly and Brighton, their three year old, quickly became the object of his affection. So, Jerry is adopted and Brighton has a new best friend for Christmas!!!!

| Monroe's Marvelous New Life! |
| Monroe was adopted by Rhonda and her husband, Edward. When she applied, this is what she said "I've been looking for a companion for my Mocha for a while now and I just don't have the heart to buy one from a breeder when there are so many dogs that need rescue. Mocha was given to us 3 years ago by a family who could no longer take care of him. He is the sweetest dog I've ever known. I've been looking for a Pomeranian because I just love their personalities. We don't have a fenced yard, but we do have a large screened in patio and I take Mocha to the dog park to play with other dogs all the time. I take him for walks a lot too." We knew right away that Monroe was going to LOVE living with this family! Monroe is now "Suka" and he has not only Mocha, but an 8 year old two-legged brother as well. As you can see from the pictures, he has quite a ruff life, LOL! | |

| Brewster was adopted by Kathy and Bob. They have one little princess, Cadence, who came dressed in her Halloween apparel ready to meet her new big brother. Their labradoodle had passed away at 5 yrs old and when they saw Brewster, they decided he was the one for their family! Brewster and Cadence are one lucky pups because Kathy makes them homemade chicken jerky treats! | |
| We adopted Major to Christine, who already has a rescued chihuahua. When she saw Major, she immediately fell in love, and just knew he was the dog for her. She drove over from Melbourne right away to meet him. She knew he had heartworms and will continue to work with him through his recovery. She loves that his tongue sometimes sticks out and it gives him character. Less than 60 days ago, he was living his life in a puppy mill and now he is living a life of comfort and luxury! | |
| We adopted Sox this past weekend to Stacey and her family. Stacey's dad adopted Buddha from us a few weeks ago and they fell in love with him. Rather than steal mom and dad's new pupper, they began looking for one of their own with a similar personality, which happened to fit Sox to a tee! Sox is now loved and spoiled by a mom, dad and some two-legged siblings of his own! | |

| Tulla and Norton's Happily Every After! |
Gina and Ken are newlyweds, who wanted to open their hearts and home to a rescued dog. When they saw Tulla and Norton, they realized that these puppies could never be apart from each other, so they applied to adopt both dogs together. Now the little Yorkies, who have been through a lot of changes and neglect in their young lives, will live out the rest of their lives with more love than any dog could imagine. These 2 babies will be so adored by their new family and they certainly deserve it! Thank you Gina and Ken for taking this pair to love and spoil. You have lots of kisses of gratitude coming your way!!

| Emmett and Jasper's Just Desserts! |
| Emmit (and his dad Jasper) are home! M'lou and her husband Paul just lost their 13 year old Boston whom they adored. They wanted to rescue another Boston and were willing to open their home to a middle-aged Boston that needed them because his owner had died and he ended up at animal control. When M'lou and Paul discovered that there were two that needed help, they offered their home to both of them. They've kept Jasper's name but renamed Emmit because a family member is named Emmit. So Emmit is now Buster. As you can see from the photo, these dogs who were homeless and pathetic a week ago, are now safe, loved and "home"! They are great with their new brothers and sisters and are part of a real family now. | |

| Linda and Jimmy lost their dog of 14 ½ yrs in July. They decided they were ready to open up their hearts to a new friend. Linda and Jimmy were preapproved to adopt and met us at Petsmart to meet their boy. One look at Matt and they knew he was the one. Who can resist Matt's charms? He is going to live the life of a king. Linda and Jimmy love to travel in their motor home and can't wait to show Matt the world. This is the home Matt needed?a family that realizes how special he is! | |

| Brownie's Sweet New Family! |
| We adopted Brownie to a busy family of 7 (yes, another brother is at home!) who have waited quite a while to adopt a dog after a heartbreaking experience with their last dog. All it took was meeting Brownie and they knew they had found the dog that would fill the void they felt not having a dog in their lives. And boy, did Brownie hit the jack pot. He is the only dog with 7 sets of hands to pet him and take him for walks! What a lucky and deserving guy to get all this attention as the only four legged fellow in this big happy family! This is one match that we know was meant to be and we are so happy for this family and their newest addition!! | |

| Tilly Totally Loves His New Home! |
| As you can see from this picture, Tilly is overjoyed and grateful that she has found her forever home with Vanessa and Paul. Vanessa and Paul were preapproved to adopt Tilly and met us at Petsmart to meet their new girl. Tilly just can't stop giving kisses to show her gratitude. This little girl will be spoiled rotten as the one and only baby in the house. From what we hear she is quite a Daddy's girl! Her new name is Nola Bean, perhaps because she prances like a little jumping bean? We expect this tiny little Boston-chi to have a long and happy life now that she has found 2 people who will give her more love than any little dog could imagine. | |

| Gulliver Travels To His New Home! |
We adopted Gulliver to Cheryl and Glenn, who drove over from Merritt Island with their little Yorkie to meet him. Their 4 year old little girl needed a playmate. Although she is the queen of the house, she needed a king to share it with. Their little girl wasn't sure about Gulliver at first, but Gulliver showed her his sweet side, which is irresistible and the two are buddies now with years of fun ahead of them.
| Steve and Genie adopted Doodle and LOVE HIM! Genie works mostly from home so Doodle has his mommy around all the time. Rusty, their 8 year old poodle, just lost his two best friends and needed another dog to play with. So Doodle now has a new buddy too. Steve and Genie have a long history of rescuing special needs Poodles so Doodle the Poodle is in excellent hands. He will be cared for into his old age by two adoring parents. | |
| Rebecca's Happily Ever After! |
| We adopted Rebecca to Vickie, who works from home which is EXACTLY what Rebecca needs! Rebecca is the sweetest dog alive and LOVES her mommy. She follows Vickie everywhere and sits at her feet while she works. Rebecca goes to Starbucks, for walks around the lake and loves to ride in the car. Vickie is working with Rebecca on housetraining and knows that a puppy mill dog needs a lot of patience. Our puppy mill dog adopters are the best?not looking for perfection, but truly they want to rescue a dog. | |

We adopted Max to Emmi and her daughter (and their 3 daschunds). Emmi signed up to foster Max and although he was afraid at first (he was from one of the puppymill seizures), he quickly got used to constant attention and love. Max spent his first 8 years living in a cage, in deplorable conditions. He's forgotten about all that is going to live the next 8 years in the arms of his new family. His new mom writes: "Thank you for the opportunity to meet Max and give the little guy a forever home. Max has brought so much joy to our home, we argue over who gets the most Max kisses : ) It just breaks my heart that there are terrible people that treat animals like this. I am so happy that there are people out there like you and LDR that help these poor helpless dogs".

| We discovered that Boss is deaf, but his new mom and dad still wanted to adopt him. Boss also had some scars on his back from a surgery our vets performed to remove multiple growths, but Anna and Arthur were not looking for perfection, they just wanted to rescue a dog to love and join their family. Boss is now a member of a very special family, that includes Corky the Boston Terrier and Mr. Harley the Pug!

| Clifford's One Lucky Dog! |
Clifford was home all along! Mia and Gordon, Clifford's foster parents, officially adopted him! They have named him "Spaghetti"! Ok, maybe that sentence should have been followed by a "?". Clifford doesn't care what they call him as long as he gets to be part of the family. Mia and Gordon are smart and very special people. They've fostered for us for a while, usually helping with the special needs dogs. Clifford worked his way into their hearts and was too good to let go! They cared for him after his heartworm treatment, having to keep him quiet (which is not easy for this dog), but now they can let him be as crazy as he wants.
| |

| We adopted Natasha to Kevin, who has a 2 yr old Westie girl that needed a playmate. Natasha is the most playful girl ever, so we were looking for a home for her with either another dog to tire her out or a house full of kids! Kevin is a smart guy and new Natasha was a perfect match for his home. He met Natasha and of course, loved her. Kevin was not bothered by the fact that Natasha had recently been treated for heartworms because she is cured! Like we said, a smart guy. | |
| Princess Rules the World! |
| We adopted Princess Chi to Sara, who had already opened her heart and adopted Kirby f.k.a. Spotty from us. Well she decided that she needed to add a new love to their life and she couldn't resist Princess Chi Chi's Charm. Sarah is an attorney living in downtown Orlando. So now two previously homeless dogs are living in style with a mom that adores them! | |

| Klondike Hits the Jackpot! |
| Ok, this photo is awful, but this home is amazing. Nina and Jerome are Klondike's new mom and dad. They are AWESOME dog people! Nina owns her own company and works from home, so there's no alone time. They have a blind cocker spaniel who they rescued which indicates the type of loving family they are. And they have lots of grandkids! Klondike loves kids! They live in an amazing home and their dogs are their family. Klondike really hit the jackpot here. Their dogs travel with them and they have a proven track record of providing excellent care for their dogs throughout their lifetime. We are really happy for this dog who never could have even dreamed of this life for himself.

| Maddox Must Think He's Dreaming! |
Lauren and two daughters in college wanted a companion for their Chichi Terrier Febe. They applied to adopt Juno and were a perfect match. Juno now lives in East Orlando with his new family who loves him. They tell us that when they walk him down the street people say it looks like they are walking a deer. Juno is great with their Febe and Lauren has him housetrained already. Juno is one of those lucky dogs that even gets to sleep with his mom. What dog doesn't love that!

| We adopted Sparrow to Linda who drove all the way from Ft Myers to meet her. Linda's prior Chihuahua had passed and she was looking for a new companion. Linda's schedule allows her to be home with Sparrow most of the day, which is exactly what Sparrow needs. Sparrow is still shy and she bonds strongly to the people she knows. This is the perfect home for her. Linda was so excited to meet Sparrow she couldn't sleep the night before. She fell in love with her the moment she saw her. After losing her dog she was ready for another love. She purchased Sparrow all kinds of new things at Petco. Sparrow is so lucky to have Linda. | |

We adopted Chadwick to Nancy and her family (including Bernie his new doggie brother). This is the email Nancy sent us: | I could go on and on and on about all of the hilarious, sweet and amazing things Lou has done this weekend! He and Bernie have ripped thru the house and around the yard until they drop, playing with every toy we've got (and that's a bunch) LOL! He was soooooooo meant to be a part of this family!
I gave him a bath this evening and he was a total dreamboat in the tub - he seemed to really enjoy it. I think, especially after seeing him wet, that he is poodle and terrier mix - I'm curious to see what my vet thinks. He is one fabulous little dog!

| Giggles Can't Stop Smiling! |
Giggles is home! She's with Jessica and Brian and their spoiled 2 yr old Boston terrier named Spenser! Jessica and Brian also have a 10 yr old daughter who is in for a big surprise!!! Giggles' new family drove two hours from Tampa to meet him and of course took him home! Jessica and Brian hopefully had a bed big enough for Spenser and Giggles, otherwise they are going to be squished. Spenser gets to sleep with them and Giggles is not going to settle for a dog bed on the floor!

| Gordon Finally Gets a Home! |
| We adopted Gordon to a family with 3 active young boys who we know will give him the attention and play time he craves. This family is friends with Gordon's foster family, which is great because they will get updates on how well he's doing. The boys renamed him Reeses and are just crazy about their very first family dog. Gordon hit the jack pot as the "only dog" in a family who will shower him with more attention than he could have ever dreamed of. He is one lucky doxi-poo and they are one lucky family to have rescued such a great dog. | |
| Camilla Can't Be Happier! |
| We adopted Tucker to Wendell and his family. There's one other boy, who's in college, not in the photo so Tucker has another brother. Wendell has already called asking, "How could someone give up a dog like Tucker, he's perfect". Tucker is going on short runs with Wendell and will be meeting the neighbor's dog for play dates this weekend. Tucker was so neglected when we took him in. He was matted and filthy. Now he is gorgeous and has a family that thinks he's perfect! | |

| Grayson, now Hannah's Happy Day! |
We adopted Grayson, now known as Hannah to Leslie and Scott. Hannah is already being spoiled! When they got home, they introduced her to her new siblings, Lily, a maltese, who they rescued from a puppy mill and Spencer, who they rescued from an animal hoarder and it was like Hannah was meant to be in their family. Hannah then got to go the pet store to pick out a new bed, toys and dog bowls. Leslie and Scott didn't care that Hannah was older, they just cared about a great fit to their family and helping to save another life.

| Ruby is Ready for a New Life! |
Ruby is HOME! Ruby became a sweet girl, fast. She was ready for a home with the RIGHT family. We are being EXTREMELY picky with the puppy mill adopters. They have to be experienced, not work full time and understand that the dogs will still need lots of patience. We adopted Ruby to Kathy and Gary, experienced dog owners. They currently have a 13 year old Yorkie named Brandy, who is loved and spoiled. Kathy and Gary know that Ruby still needs lots of time and understanding with housetraining and that she will progress at her own pace. Kathy works part time so she has lots of time to give Ruby the attention she needs to gain confidence and learn about her new world. Ruby will take lots of comfort in having Brandy as company as well because she loves other dogs. We are so grateful to Kathy and Gary for giving Ruby such a wonderful home and know she is going to be adored.

| Well JR never made it into foster care because Amanda, the lead receptionist at our vet's office, fell in love with him! She and her husband have one just like him at home and as she cared for JR in the clinic, he became very attached to her and she to him. So we are thrilled to report that JR is HOME! | |

| Annabeth's Awesome Family! |
| We adopted Anabeth to Arden and her daughter a couple weeks ago, but were waiting on photos. The pictures tell the story. Arden and her daughter adopted Wallace from us a month ago and were so pleased with him, they wanted another. When they saw Anabeth, who was a bigger version of Wallace, they wanted to meet her. You can't meet Anabeth and NOT love her so of course they took her home. Wallace and Anabeth (now Anabelle) took a day to figure out the other and now they are buddies. It sure didn't take long for Anabeth to go from homeless to being part of a family. We have many people who come back to us for their second dog because they love their first dog so much. Nothing makes us happier! | |

Cheerio is HOME! We adopted Cheerio to Kristie, Michael and their two children. Kristie works part time and the family was looking to adopt, but agreed to foster Cheerio. Uh huh, right. Cheerio is so much fun and is such a loving dog, the whole family fell in love with him and they adopted him. Of course that was not part of our secret evil plan..J!!
| Homer's Happily Ever After! |
Homer is home!! Homer is a very high energy dog! Gail and William were looking for exactly that because their 15 year old Lab is very low energy. Their vet reference was phenomenal as this couple has a history of rescuing all of their pets and gets them everything they need. This couple was so convinced Homer was for them, they drove all the way up from Jupiter to meet him. They loved his energy and of course Homer loved them. We love this photo of Homer as he drives off to start his new life. This dog is a character and we are so happy for him.
| Snickers got a cute hair cut when we got to the adoption event so that he was irresistible. Jeff, his wife and kids couldn't resist him! Their prior dog had passed so Snickers has an entire family to himself. Snickers is a little dog with a ton of personality so he will keep every member of his new family entertained! | |
| Kinzie Couldn't Be Happier! |
| We adopted Kinzie to Cindy and her daughter who's prior dog had passed. Kinzie now lives in a great home in North Orlando where she is the only spoiled pooch and of course sleeps on the bed!! | |
| Clem and Hazel Have It Made! |
| We adopted Clem and Hazel to Lori and Rick?two young retirees with a 10 year old Yorkie at home. They came for one Yorkie, but the foster mom had two. Rick fell for Clem and Lori fell for Hazel! How lucky for both of them! We could not come up with better parents than this couple for these two needy gals. They even have a ramp to their bed for the dogs! | |

| Morgan Makes Himself at Home! |
| We adopted Morgan to a couple from Ft. Lauderdale who have another Westie with Dry Eye! They are familiar with the condition and their dog needs drops every day for the rest of his life. Morgan may not. Morgan had already shown progress in the short time we had him, so we do think he will get to the point when he will need the drops on an as-needed basis. But it doesn't matter, because Morgan's new mom and dad are prepared for drops every day like their Westie boy. We knew we could find Morgan a loving home, but we never expected to find a family this perfect for him. We got an email the second day they had Morgan that the two dogs were like peas in a pod! | |
Roscoe's Rollin' In Love! |
Roscoe is home! Vickie wanted a dog to be a companion for her spoiled Fonzie an 8 year old Pomeranian. What better match than Roscoe, an 8 yr old Yorkie? Vickie is the ultimate doggie mom, grooms Fonzie herself and of course he gets to sleep with her just like Roscoe does now!
| Lucille is home! Ian, her foster dad, became another "foster failure". When the foster parents adopt their foster dogs, we tease them that they have failed miserably, but in the process made a homeless dog VERY HAPPY!! Ian and his 60 lb boxer mix decided that Lucille was too good to give up! Lucky Lucy has been home all along! | |
| We adopted Spike to Michele and her sister who also have an 11 yr old rescued Golden Retriever. They were looking for a small dog to rescue and lucky for Spike, they chose him. Michele and her sister are experienced dog owners and one of them is always home so In addition to Spike's new doggie brother, he will always have a mom at home with him. Spike's got a new home and a new name. He's called Duff now! | |
| We adopted Yoda to Dina, Steve and their son. Steve works from home a few days a week, so Yoda has company much of the time. They lost their long haired ChiChi to a seizure a few years ago and wanted to wait until their son was old enough to adopt a new dog into the family. They have a cat and their son spends lots of time with neighbors dogs so he is gentle and loving with all pets. | |
Mia is a foster mom and when her mom came to visit with her dog, she loved Logan and decided he was the perfect match for their family with her chi!
| We adopted Sophia to Cynthia and Jim from Bradenton. They are YOUNG retirees with all the time in the world to spoil this girl. They haven't had a dog to love in a long time because they were in the high-tech field in California doing lots of traveling. Now that they've retired to Florida, it was time to add a family member. | |
| Anastasia's Amazing Family! |
| Andrea and Ben adopted her, driving all the way from Jacksonville to meet her. They work mostly from their home, so Anastasia will have constant companions. Andrea had to put her last baby to sleep after 15 years of a great life. This couple spoils their dogs and considers them their children. They were open to various breeds and even older dogs. We love folks like these! Anastasia is a very lucky little girl! | |
Springfield's Livin' the Life! |
| We adopted Springfield to Davina and her daughter, who recently adopted a Retriever she named Nyla. Davina had been babysitting a friends Yorkie and Nyla became best friends with the Yorkie. When it was time for the Yorkie to go home Nyla became very sad. So Davina decided it was time to rescue another dog and Springfield was the lucky boy! | |
Zeke is home with Christine and Jeff and their two beautiful little girls. Christine and Jeff were not particular as to the breed of dog, they just wanted the right match and wanted to give an adult dog a home. This is their first family dog and we matched them with a dog that will give them tons of fun and lots of love. And in return Zeke gets to be the spoiled boy of the family!
| Simone now lives with Scott in a high rise on Lake Eola?fancy!! She goes for walks around the lake with all the other lucky dogs and has adjusted quite well to her new loving dad and spoiled life. Scott lost his prior rescued dog to cancer and was waiting for his perfect match. When he met Simone he was sure she was it! | |
| We adopted Prissy to Roland and Andrea who's current Maltese named, of course, Diva, needed a sister. So now they have Prissy and Diva?you don't think those dogs are spoiled do you?!! Roland and Andrea know that Prissy was treated for heartworms and are continuing her on her prednisone, a drug given after heartworm treatment for a month to reduce inflammation. Prissy is going be absolutely adored in this home. We are so happy for her! | |
| Pete (formerly Luther) is home with Bethany and Brian, who drove from Gainesville to meet him. Bethany didn't care about Pete's "peg leg". She's a soft hearted law student, who didn't care that he wasn't perfect. She wanted a dog to love and Pete was it. Bethany's dad is a veterinary surgeon. Hmmmm there may be a prosthetic foot in Pete's future... Pete actually does fine with his deformed foot, he just can't wear high heels. | |

| Marina's Amazing New Life! |
| Abbracadabra! Magic Man Is Home! |
Melody, Michael, their daughter Ginny (in college to become a veterinarian) and their Cocker Colby adopted Magic Man. This is a RESCUE family. They get it! They have a history of rescuing and loving their pets forever, no matter what. Colby is on the left in the photo and is 11 years old. This boy is beautiful and happy. When this family applied to adopt, they didn't care much about breed, just that their new addition would be a good companion for Colby. We matched them to Magic Man and when the two met they sniffed each other and wagged in unison. These two are a perfect pair and we are so thankful to this family for opening up their homes and hearts to an older pet.
| Kennedy's Family Is a Keeper! |
| Dexter's Extra Special Family! |
| We adopted Cotton to Doug, Gillian and their two adorable children. They haven't had a family dog before, but had a good idea of the type of dog they were looking for. Gillian had dogs as a child and felt her family was ready to adopt a new member. The photo sort of tells the story on this one?a happy ending for everyone. | |

| We adopted Caven to John and Amy who drove their family all the way up from Ft. Myers to meet him. They love this dog!!! Here's an email from John after their first night:
He's been awesome and the first night was great. He slept most of the way on the drive back, except when we stopped for gas and let him go potty and stretch his legs. When we got home he slept beside our bed for the night and didn't wake up until I did around 7:30 this morning! We went for a long walk, woke the family, then I got ready and left for work. The kids are out of school today so it's Fun-day with Caven (who Emma has named Oreo) all day. They keep calling and letting me know how great he is. He won't eat the dry food so they all ran out to get some cans.Thank you again! He was worth every minute of the drive!

| Carmen Couldn't Be Happier! |
| We adopted Carmen to Mark and Tammy and their 3 year old one-eyed Boston named Jack. They adopted Jack from Boston Terrier Rescue and wanted another Boston for him to pal around with. Carmen and Jack, like true Bostons, hit it off immediately. They did the Boston dance and snort and the deal was sealed! It was as if these two were long lost siblings. Mark and Tammy will have Carmen's coat looking gorgeous in no time. | |

| Matilda's Magnificent Family! |
Matilda is home! She had a tough road medically but she finally recovered from her surgeries. However she is still afraid of men. We needed to find a single woman would give her the constant love she craves. Mary was looking for a dog with a similar sweet personality to her prior dog, Bubbles, the Peekinese she lost to congestive heart failure. Mary is well aware of Matilda's special needs but thinks she's worth it. She's already emailed us that Matilda is perfect. She says Matilda follows her around the house and hasn't had even one accident. THIS was the home we were waiting on for Matilda!

We adopted Betty to Vicki , Robert and their rescued boy "Kermit". Despite the fact that they are not smiling, they are awesome folks! True dog-people! Vicki was a volunteer at the SPCA for over 10 years. She works part time so has lots of time for Kermit and Betty. She and Robert spoil their dogs?they are their family, going on family holiday vacations and even getting to sleep in their bed! When Vicki saw Betty she thought she would make the perfect playmate for Kermit. She was right, here's the email she sent us "Betty's a great dog and is adjusting very well. She walked in like she'd always lived here and acts like she's known us forever. Kermit pouted for about a day and gave his grumbly old man impression to try and scare her away but she was persistent and now they play constantly!"

| Mitzi and Peyton's New Life! |
Mitzi and Peyton are home! They are now Syndey and Sophie and their loving parents are Claudia and Tim. Claudia and Tim drove a long distance to meet them because Claudia was convinced that these two were exactly what they were looking for. She was right! Now Mitzi and Peyton are loved and spoiled and even get to sleep in bed with their new mom and dad. We are so excited that Mitzi and Peyton get to live together because they are a mother and daughter pair. Claudia and Tim have been in touch to tell us how much they love their new little girls.

Curly Couldn't Be More Loved! |
| Curly's family made a 2.5 hr drive to come and meet him. They fell in love with him right away and love the fact that he is so mellow. Carolyn and her son live on an acre wooded lot so although Curly is strictly an indoor dog, he's got lots of exploring to do when he's outside. Carolyn called and gave us an update that Curly is the perfect addition to their family and they couldn't be happier. | |

| Skip's new mom is Arrietta. She's a teacher with two girls (pictured here with one of them) and another Schnauzer named Jake. Arrietta wanted another Schnauzer so that when she went to work, Jake had a playmate. Jake and Skip are about the same age and size so any tug of war games will be evenly matched! Arrietta is a great dog mom (she looks 18, but is 40!!) and we were very happy that Skip has a brother and two girls to play with. | |

Well it always takes us a while to find homes for white male Poodles, but Jack is finally home! Maria and Ben don't have any dogs or any children. They have lots of love to give and Jack is the lucky boy to receive it. Jack immediately connected with his new mom and dad. He showed them what a loving clown he could be and they couldn't resist his charms?smart boy! Jack has a wonderful life ahead of him as an only spoiled child!

| Taffy's Pulling For a Great New Life! |
Well it took us a while but we found Taffy his new home! Taffy is HIGH energy!! This dog will wear you out! We got a few very good applications for Taffy, but it just wasn't a good fit for him as he needs someone who can keep up with him. We adopted Taffy to Ivor and Amal. They are dancers?it doesn't get more high energy than that! They are originally from Ireland and have grown up with dogs, but wanted one of their own. Their workday is short so they have lots of time for a dog and wanted one that would be playful and fun. Since Taffy wrote the book on "playful and fun" we felt like this was his match.

| Maizy Meets Her Marvelous Family! |
Oh boy, I mean girl! This little girl went from having no name to having 3 names in 2 weeks. First we thought she was a boy and named her Travis. Then we changed it to Trina. Her foster mom decided that "Trina" didn't fit her, so she renamed her Maizy! And her new mom and dad have probably given her a brand new name!
We adopted Maizy to David and Christine, schoolteachers with two children of their own. Maizy needed an active family. She is a young, loving dog with so much to do every day! She needed to be part of a family where she could participate in all the fun stuff and be a source of much of the fun! Maizy was very lucky that David and Christine added her to their family.

| Taylor's Terrific New Life! |
| We adopted Taylor to Deborah and her mom Gloria who drove quite a ways to come meet Taylor because they were convinced she was the one for them. They had 2 Yorkies, but just lost one. Deborah and her mom are retired, with lots of love to give a dog that needed a home. They wanted another "Diva of the house that was ready to be pampered". Taylor is the shaggy pup on the right looking so comfy in her new mom's arms. Thank you Kristine for saving this shy little girl that finally gets to live the life she deserves. | |

We adopted Avalanche to this family who fell in love with her as soon as they met her. To make it even better Avalanche doesn't mind cats so he won't be chasing his 2 cat siblings (well not too much anyway). The kids couldn't wait to go buy Avalanche some toys and dog beds. The faces on these kids tell the rest of the story!
| We adopted Trinity to Dana and Olivia, his lovely daughter. Their prior dog Mabel, who they adopted as a senior dog, had passed. This time they wanted to adopt a puppy. We adopted Wookie to Sean and Shana and their 3 little girls (mom and two of the little girls are pictured here, with a family friend). Shana works from home so Wookie never has to be alone. Bailey, their Cocker Spaniel loves other dogs so he'll be happy to have a brother! When this family met Wookie, the two girls loved him and the little one giggled as Wookie kissed her face. He was so gentle with them as they were with him. Wookie is going to be so loved. The little girl, Shay said that we picked the best home ever for Wookie and we agree completely! | |

| Adrianna is home! We adopted Adrianna to Jennifer and Doug and their two beautiful, gentle little girls. After their cats and fish went to heaven, they needed to give their love to another pet. They felt they were ready to add a dog to their family. Jennifer's parents had adopted a beautiful papillon mix from us months earlier and were so happy with their addition, that they wanted their daughter and grand daughters to have a wonderful dog too. Jennifer and Doug applied to adopt a dog from us and Adrianna was their match. Jennifer is a stay at home mom so now she has 3 girls to take care of, although her two daughters will be lots of help in caring for Adrianna, or at least keeping her busy with play! | |

| Oscar's Number One Family! |

Emily was on a prescription diet and lived 12 loving years with Phil and Barbara. Despite that Oscar isn't perfect, as he's missing an eye, this family didn't care. They wanted another Boston Terrier to love and love them back. As long as Oscar had the heart of a Boston, they thought he was perfect.

| Ivy hit the jackpot! We adopted Ivy to a family in Ft. Lauderdale. Mom, Dad and two boys. Dad is taking this photo. They are a great loving family that were so sure Ivy was the dog for them, they prepared a video presentation that convinced us that they were right! We had so many applications for Ivy, but most people don't realize that Labradoodles are high energy dogs that must be part of the family. They want to participate in family activities and need their exercise and lots of play time. This family did understand that and has the commitment and resources to give Ivy the home and love she needs. | |

Domino's new mom is a veterinarian in Orlando. She and her husband just lost one of her dogs after a year and a half long fight with cancer. Monday is her husband's birthday, so they are celebrating with a new "child". Domino's mom said she had heard about our rescue group and wanted to adopt a dog from us. That's a great tribute to our rescue group and Domino will live a long happy spoiled life with his new mom and dad and his new sibling - a basset hound to play with!

| Kelli's Amazing Adventure! |
| We adopted Kelli to Lee, a single gal with another Chihuahua mix named Indy who needed a companion. Lee is a smart gal and is dedicated to the happiness of her dog Indy. She is exactly the kind of home we seek for our special needs dogs. Kelli was afraid of new people so we wanted to make sure we found her a home where there wasn't lot of children to spook her or lots of activity in the home. Kelli has gotten so much better, but we wanted her forever home to be one where she would be the center of attention. Lee's dogs are her life so this is the exact home we were waiting for! She's got 15 years of love, laps, hugs and kisses ahead of her! | |

| The couple we adopted Brandy to were looking for a small lap dog to play with their border collie mix, as their shih tzu was getting older and not so playful. Their border collie was also a rescued dog. When they met Brandy they fell in love with her and when they held her, there was now way they were going to let her go. This couple understood her background and her shyness (although she is almost cured of that now). They were very patient with their rescued border collie and we knew they'd be just as patient with Brandy. They emailed us the day after they adopted her with the following message: 'Great News! Brandy LOVES our other pups, she is having a wonderful time! She feels right at home. | |

| We adopted Aiden to Frank, Linda and their three children who live in Lake Mary. They put their Golden Retriever to sleep at 17 years old from cancer--this must be a record. The family was very sad. They wanted a dog that would go boating with them and participate in all family activities, like their Golden did. Aiden is going to love this home especially since these 3 kids are awesome. The kids are gentle and loving and know how to have fun with a dog. Aiden has lots of happy years ahead of him. | |

| We adopted Blitz to Patti, one of our groomers, who fell in love with him before she even met him. She saw Blitz's photo and knew he was the one for her. Blitz is on the right and the dog on the left is "Smudge" a Papillon we adopted to Patti about 6 months ago. Over the past 2 weeks Blitz had become more outgoing, but he was still a little shy. When Patti met him, his shyness just made him more endearing to her. She's had him now for 4 days and is head over heels in love with him. He is a very lucky boy. | |

As he healed, he became even more energetic so we waited for an active home for him to run around in! Lori and her husband had been searching for a Scotty, but they were determined NOT to buy from a breeder. They knew that they'd find a Scotty that needed to be rescued and sure enough they did!

| Carlos's Magnificent New Mom! |
| Carlos is finally home! It took us a while to find him the right home because he prefers to be an only dog. Most of our applicants have other dogs so we had to wait for his match which took a little while. Celia lost her Yorkie in May, who she rescued 11 years ago. She lives in a retirement community where everyone includes their dogs in their activities and very much missed her Yorkie. This was Carlos' perfect mom, who he wouldn't have to share with any other dogs! | |
